Tonya Morrison

Hospital Manager

Tonya has always been an animal lover, but her interest in veterinary medicine began in 2010 when her youngest daughter decided to become a veterinarian. She joined her first hospital in 2010, and has since managed small and large hospitals throughout her career. She is also a Certified Veterinary Assistant and is FEAR FREE® certified.

Leading and developing teams is also her passion. Building foundations for success, supporting teammates to reach beyond their self-imposed limitations and celebrating the 'aha' moments drive her. She believes everyone has something to learn, and everyone has something to teach.

Originally from Ohio, Tonya has called North Texas home for more than 30 years.
She and her husband have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons, with a 3rd grandson on the way! Their fur family consists of a 7 year old Terrier mix, Amari, a 3 year old calico Ariel, and a 1 year old black, domestic shorthair, Adina. They love being outdoors (even in the Texas heat) and enjoy hiking, camping and kayaking. They also love to travel, to Colorado in particular, for white-water rafting, zip-lining, dog sledding and riding snow mobiles.

Tonya enjoys volunteering and has been active with several organizations including Humane Tomorrow, Operation Kindness, American Red Cross, and Toys for Tots, and has a special place in her heart for St. Jude and Best friends Animal Society.
